Privacy, and how we text you

Two Hour Site builds one-page websites for small local businesses. This page says what we hold about you, why we hold it, and what we will never do with it. If anything here is unclear, ring or text (732) 592‑6176 and ask.

What we collect

Only what it takes to build and run your website:

Your name, phone number and email address.
Your business details — address, hours, what you do, your prices.
Photos and a logo, if you send them.
Calls and texts to our number, so we have a record of what was agreed.

You give us all of it yourself, by phone, by text, or on the form we send you. We do not buy lists and we do not track you around the internet.

Who else sees it

We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anybody for their marketing. That includes your mobile number and anything to do with text messaging — those are never shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes, at all.

The only outsiders who touch it are the companies that run the machinery on our behalf — the phone and texting provider, the email provider, and the hosting and database that your site runs on. They handle it only to provide that service to us, and nothing else. We will also hand something over if the law genuinely requires it.

Texting

When you contact us, or give us your number so we can get your site built, we may text you about your own job — a link to your agreement, a question about your opening hours, a note that your site is live. Nothing else. No promotions, no newsletters.

How often: only when there is something to say about your job. There is no schedule and no regular send.
Reply STOP at any time and we stop texting you. Reply HELP and you get our number back.
Message and data rates may apply, depending on your own phone plan.
Carriers do not guarantee that any message is delivered.

Stopping texts does not cancel anything — we will just ring or email you instead.

How long we keep it

While we are working together, and afterwards for as long as we are responsible for your website, so we can pick it up again when you need a change. Ask us to delete it and we will, other than anything we have to keep for tax or legal reasons.

Your website belongs to you

The site, the web address and the accounts behind it are registered in your name and paid on your card. If you ever want to walk away or move to somebody else, everything goes with you. Nothing is locked to us.

Children

This is a service for businesses. We do not knowingly collect anything from anybody under 18.

If this page changes

We will change the date at the top. If a change actually affects you, we will tell you rather than leave you to find it.
